The Loudoun Learners Program
Created in partnership with Loudoun County Dept of InformationTechnology, the Loudoun Learners Program connects promising residents with a paid, full-time technology role for two years.
The first cohort, comprising exclusively Loudoun County residents, runs from Feb 2025 to Oct 2026. Six promising participants were selected from over 100 applicants. These enrollees have gained business and technology skills such as Agile/Scrum, software development, ServiceNow, and professional confidence. They’ve also earned valuable ScrumMaster, cybersecurity, and cloud engineering certifications. They are now in process of graduating and job placement.
Upon successful program completion, participants are equipped to pursue employment with the Loudoun County tech team or as IT engineers across the industry. The Loudoun Learners program not only gives participants a foot in the door to a great tech career, it reduces the County’s reliance on external vendors and creates a vetted pipeline of talented developers.
Thank You to Our Partners
The tech world has made careers in the field seem so unapproachable and complex that it’s built a self-fulfilling barrier of intimidation and exclusion. Exelaration gives emerging engineers the experience and confidence they need to overcome this obstacle.
